Welcome to Cheerful Hearts Day School.

Hello! My name is Danell Little.

I have 20 years of experience teaching preschool in a certified child care center and now the recent eleven years teaching out of my home. Cheerful Hearts Day School is a Certified Family Child Care that offers child care/preschool for private pay families, ERDC is accepted, and free enrollment to qualifying families through Preschool Promise.

My additional qualifications include:

  • First Aid and CPR certified

  • Over 25 years and 500+ hours of annual continuing early childhood education

  • Food handler’s card

  • Step 9 on the Oregon childcare registry

  • Star-rated by the Oregon Quality Rating and Improvement System

  • Taught Sunday school for 7+ years

More about me:

I’m a mother of three amazing and responsible young adults. I love the outdoors, being active, and adventurous. I like gardening, dancing, hiking, biking, kayaking, boating, swimming, rock climbing, paddle boarding, sledding, and would like to learn how to ski as I have retired from snowboarding. I love sharing positive energy with the children by being actively involved with them.
