Free Preschool for Foster Children and Lower-Income Families
Through a grant from the state, Preschool Promise offers free, full-day preschool for 3 and 4-year-old children from income-eligible families, in a variety of classroom settings throughout Clackamas County. To see if your family may be eligible, complete the Preschool Promise Eligibility Screening Form.

Private and State Pay
For those families that do not qualify for Preschool Promise, I understand how child care costs can be expensive! Because I do not have the large overhead costs that other centers require, I can keep my rate affordable and still offer quality care.
Forms and Information
Enrollment and Emergency Consent Forms are due by the first day of attendance.

Cheerful Hearts is a state licensed certified family child care which is in compliance with all state regulations. The facility maintains an open door policy. Parents are welcome to stop in at any me to visit or participate in the program’s daily schedule.
Parent and family participation is encouraged. There are many opportunities to get involved which include: bringing items for the curriculum, helping with projects, reading books to the children, sharing family interests, etc. I will let you know each month on how your family can contribute.
